The default state of every link is dofollow.

Now to make it nofollow, one has to add in rel=”nofollow” however in your case, I think the problem is at robots.txt level. You can take the following steps :

1. Visit Settings>reading in wp-admin of your website and check that it is allowed for search engines.

2. If you still find links to be nofollow than the reason is they are coded as such in your website theme, You will need a web developer to rectify the situation.
