How do you install WordPress on a localhost using WAMP?

Installing WordPress on Localhost using WAMP is very simple easy just follow few written steps…..

Download WordPress installation zip file from WordPress.Org.
Copy downloaded WordPress zip file into C:\WAMP\WWW\ directory and unzip the copied file.
Start WAMP server and open localhost.
Open PHP MyAdmin in on localhost – localhost\phpmyadmin\ and create a database and database username & password or you can use default username “root” and password “ ” for WordPress installation.
In web browser type- localhost\www\wordpress\ hit the enter key or go to start WordPress installation.
WordPress installation window will appear, select language and click on start installation button.
Next fill all the required information like “database name”, “username & password”, “host name”, “Site name”, “Website Admin Login Password” etc and click the install button.
After that, you will get the installation complete message.
To check your WordPress website on localhost host type in the browser – localhost\www\wordpress\ hit enter, website start running.
To login WordPress website’s admin panel type in the browser – localhost\www\wordpress\wp-admin , then an admin login window appear, type your admin login username & password and click the login button and then modify or update your website.
