Web Design: Is it possible to create something similiar to facebook by using wordPress?

It’s possible to begin there anyway. You gotta start somewhere. If it ever gets to be even a small version of a Facebook-like site you’ll be leaving WordPress or running such a custom WordPress site that it won’t really be WordPress anymore.
